This is a true black liverpool cotton knit. Liverpool knit has a pattern knitted into it, almost like a jacquard. The pattern isn’t visible until you look closely. It doesn’thave lycra, and the recovery isn’t as good as a fabric with lycra.The fabric doesn’t curl up at the edges like jersey does, so it’s a great fabric for beginners. The fabric has a bitoftransparency so you may want to line it. It’s a great weight for tops, dresses, joggers, and skirts. It’s a midweight knit.
The fabric looks gray because I lightened the photos, butit is a true black fabric. This fabric is sold by the half yard.
